God is SO good. I am so thankful that He is providing for us and honoring us. We are so very happy to have so many friends who have baby daughters of their own...we have already received so much stuff! I have already said thanks but really, THANK YOU to those of you who have helped us out so. Our babygirl will be the fanciest-dressed ever!
Oh, did I mention we're having a girl? Ha! I forgot to post that from before...yes, we had our big ultrasound and nope! No little nubby down below! It's a girl! We are naming her Lily Blue and she is already showing some serious ninja moves down below. Even Billy has already felt her kicking from the outside. Yay!
So, I mentioned "Hiding Out" above...which has been what we've (I'VE) been doing for the past couple of months. Everyone and their gramma's possum is sick right now and has been...so I've avoided a lot of person-to-person contact to avoid the crap that's been traveling around.
Also, the hiding out thing has been wonderful! My sweet, sweet husband and I have had SO much fun and so much bonding time together. We talk and talk, watch movies and laugh. It's almost as if we're in training for the rough, sleepless times ahead! Again, God is so very good.
I have to say, I'm still not enjoying being pregnant all that much. The "glowing, feel-good" second trimester has kind of come and gone. I gained 7 pounds last month, which is not TERRIBLE, but if I keep going at that rate, my third trimester will not be pleasant. Also, my pubic (sorry to be gross) bone has started hurting. It goes from feeling bruised to feeling like the bones are rubbing together. That is making working out harder to do. Also, this weight gain has made all of my collected maternity pants useless. I have ONE pair of precious blue jeans that are not only fitting, but still a bit too big. SO, I wear them for three days, wash, then re-wear. At least the shirts still fit, eh?
Billy and I are so excited to be building this loving family...in addition to all the loving family members we already have!! We are looking forward to making everyone uncles and aunts and second cousins and great aunts and great grandmas, etc. We hope this is as exciting for you guys as it is for us. We're praying for you and love you all DEARLY.
Even when you get on our nerves, jerks. HA!
