Not much goin on...

I'm sorry there aren't more postings, but seriously...not a lot is going on.
Getting fatter and fatter.
No energy at all.
Feel poopy all the time.

However, Cletus did get some LOVELY Christmas gifts! Fun!

Don't expect many more posts for awhile. Seriously, they would all be THIS boring.

Yep.

I love being the one who gives birth to Billy Knight's spawn. Seriously. And I will love sharing parenthood with him and our new lil Knight.

But I hate - HATE - being pregnant.

That is all.

Post Toikey!

Well, the dead bird is eaten...and no queasies! Tday food is all good! YAY!
I even got to get out and be with people! I mean, people who aren't me, Billy, the dog or Cletus!
(I think Cletus is a BEAUTIFUL name for a fetus, Robert!)

Of course, still had some sicky fun this weekend, but all in all, not bad.

And it's official...I can't fit into any of my pants. Even my huge, stretchy ones.

I have to say: I don't really like being pregnant. Maybe I'll feel better when Cletus is kicking me from my innards? :)

Enough for now...back to work.

Toikey!

Over the river and thru the woods, to GRANDMOTHER'S HOUSE WE GO!
The (car) horse knows the way to carry the sleigh (in 65 degree weather)
thru the white and drifting snoooo-ooow! (I wish)

Over the river and thru the woods OH HOW THE WIND DOES BLOW! (No, really!)
It stings your toes and bites your nose (and flares your ragweed allergies)
as over the ground we go!
---

Tonight is my family dinner for Thanksgiving. Turkey, sure...but it's the dressing, casserole and pie that I'm after. Carbs? Me? Ummm....

Dude, I've been dreaming of this dinner, literally. AND abstained from eating anything remotely Thanksgiving-y for fear of baby-rejection. I can just see me, all queasy, watching everyone eat from the front porch. "Hi, Paw-Paw! How's dem sweet taters? Ooooh, nice lookin rolls, Gramma!"

Speaking of dreams...several people have come to me, saying they have had dreams about my upcoming child. Almost always, it's in regards to the sex of the baby.
I dreamed a LOT of my baby way before I was pregnant. Now I dream about being able to dance all night long OR being able to save the cheerleader so I can save the world. (Nope, not kidding.)

I guess I should write something here about my actual Cletus-ness, eh?
Well, last Saturday was the best day I had in a long time. I felt good ALL day...all energetic...no queasies...no aching.
Then Sunday came. Sigh.
Oh well, it can't rain all the time. Right?

Thanks to everyone for your comments and for your sweet empathies and advice.
Back to being pregnant, now.
BYE!

In the midst of it all...

Whatever you do today...be kind.
Be gracious and grateful.

Regardless of how pregnant & uncomfortable I get...I pray that I will constantly be reminded of

how GOOD God really is.

Kimmer & Cletus

And for those who have not talked to me recently...I really, REALLY feel like I'm going to have a little girl. Wouldn't that just be justice?? haha

Queso is MAGIC.

So far, one thing REALLY makes the icky belly better: tortilla chips and queso. Today's lunch: Tortilla chips and queso.
Nearly everything else is a NO. I'm talking saltines, french fries, salad, grilled chicken...everything, basically.

I got to see my child for the first time yesterday and I have to say it was really overwhelming.
I mean THERE IS A WHOLE PERSON IN THERE! Well, not quite whole yet...but it's a person - because I saw the heart beat.
And I'm exactly on track...just like the ticker says at the bottom: 8 weeks, 5 days.
So, it's really real...and I'm really preggo. Really.

I'm ready to stop feeling like ka-ka and start being excited and all WOO HOO!
I don't post much b/c I have only been feeling crappy and tired and then poo-y.
Please join me in looking forward to the future, where I'm told it will get better...

right before it gets worse. :)
Love to all,
Kimmer & Cletus

P.S. Thanks so much to those close to me who are being all kick-ass supportive. You know who you are, girls.

Cruisin Right Along!

I'm skating right into month number two. A bit over six weeks. I can tell that things are getting thicker in the middle. And things hurt. I have not actually gone to the OB chick yet, but from what I've been told, all my innards and bones are softening and moving to make room for Cletus. Some days I hurt all over and some, just mild pelvic pain. OH and more happy news? Hee hee - nausea has come to roost!
As of yesterday morning, I've been sick to my stomach almost constantly.
DANG! I thought I might skip that part.
Thank GOD I've not actually V'd yet.

We received two fabulous gifts from the Dover family: a skull onesie (YAY) and yes, a CRIB! Oh, Ted's is NOT enough to thank them! We're so happy!

This past weekend I got to meet a lot of new people and my sweet husband loved telling them all that we were expecting. The best part is that almost all of the women were incredibly sweet and honest and so very helpful.

I SWEAR pics are coming...but I keep forgetting to bring the disc to work. Among other things!
Kisses,
KK, BK & Cletus

Lack of Posts

Quick update, but not much to tell:
I'm cranky, tired, cranky some more then tired some more THEN I'm super angrycrankymoody.
Yes, it's a real word. I just said it.

Also, things ache. A LOT.
The Lord told us that we'd have painful childbearing and I understand WHY.
Sucks, nonetheless.

My first babydoc appt is on November 8th.

OH and if you look at the very bottom of this page? You'll see my Lilypie ticker...it's counting down my preggo-ness for me with a baby elephant! Sweeeeet. (Esp since I can't remember much of anything these days)

Kisses from Kimmer and Cletus.

P.S. Emily, Tyrone and Riley rock the rave, seriously. Thanks to them for the gift. Thanks so much, we love you.

HUNGRY ALWAYS & FOREVER.

Two things: belly pics (ew) coming very quickly.
AND
I'm friggin starving. For green beans, sausage gravy, ice cream and egg rolls. Not together, but in that order, thank you.

Also, thanks to everyone in our current, kickass support system. I know this whole thing is early, but we're about to be in month two, ya know? It's nice to be loved. We love you too. All three of us!

It's doesn't take long, girls!

You know, I always heard that it doesn't take much to get all knocked up. Well, in our case, it is TRUE. My husband knocked up his wife in just two months. Holy crap. Good job, baby!

Anyway, there won't be much here for awhile because there is not much to tell. It's early - only four weeks and four days along - and let's not torture those closest to us by rambling on about sicknesses and cravings.

By now, baby fetus is the size of a pencil point and I'm crazy. End of month ONE and I'm dizzy, sore-boobied, very, very, very tired and rather moody. WOO!

We're excited and nervous...but mostly excited! Just found out the OB/GYN we wanted to use is not in my insurance network. DANG. It's all good...search on!

More to come! Soon, we hope!
Hugs & Kisses from us and Cletus (the fetus)
